My Little Tapas Bar

Heyos! I haven't been posting for a short while because of my final year projects and London reccy and such, so I apologise. But anyways, I am back and here is a little short post and some iPhone snaps from food tasting! Looking for a new bar to chill in? These were what we had:

DIY Gin-toneria


You get to customise your own Gin-toneria, picking 1 gin and up to 3 botanicals.
Mine was London No. 1(gin), Ginger, Lemongrass and Cinnamon:

$18++ (if you choose the regular gin) 
$24++ (if you choose the premium gin)


It tasted refreshing and it's pretty fun to play around with different botanicals for all you self-proclaimed mixologists, and those who want to try something special apart from your usuals.

Edward Esmero and Maria Sevillano.






Tabla (Platter):

Maria was slicing the Jamon Serrano (Spanish cured ham) - $7 on the spot for us!
I later learnt how to slice the ham too.





Right: Croquetas de Jamon - $10 (Lightly fried jamon-stuffed creamy croquettes with alioli)

Left: Chorizo a la Plancha - $14 (Fresh grilled chorizo with caramelised onions and manchego cheese) Personal Favourite! 





Right: Gambas Picantes - $14 
(Fresh shrimp cooked on a dish of boiling olive oil with garlic, chill and smoked paprika)

Left: Sardinas en escabeche - $14 
(Homemade sardines cooked in vinegar, olive oil and smoke paprika, serve on toast bread, and pepper puree)





Right: Patatas Bravas - $10 (Feisty fried potatoes with devil's alioli) Personal Favourite! 

Left: Albondigas - $12 (Homemade beef and pork meatballs in rich tomato-based sauce)




Sangria Tinta (Red) - $12





Tarta de Chocolate - $12
(3 layers chocolate tart with ice cream - Chef Edward has won an award with this.)




Yes and this is my attempt at slicing Jamon Serrano.
It is harder than it seems...


Not to mention, every Wednesday is Ladies' Night - so Ladies, you are all entitled to a free Sangria for any order!
