Teenage Mission Gorgeous You! 2014
This year, I joined Teenage Mission Gorgeous You! 2014 (TMGY). I'm blogging about this so that you all who are keen to join next year can know more about this competition.
So, I'm 1st Runner-Up Females. Hahahaha
It's really simple,
1. Send in your online application.
2. Walk in for your interview.
3. Wait for email to notify whether you're selected.
4. Competition begins!

I wouldn't consider this competition much of a commitment, we only had 3 days of photoshoots and classes, and the 4th time we see each it's already the Grand Finals. So I could participate in this as well as TNP NewFace at the same time.
We had X'pect Hair Group as our hair sponsor, The Body Shop as our makeup sponsor, and FreshKon Contacts to sponsor us contact lenses.
I got a glass trophy and here's a picture of it. I apologise for bad lighting and photography.
The prizes awarded for 1st Runner-Up are:
- Glass Trophy
- $250 Cash
- $50 Voucher for Fly Academy
- $250 worth of FreshKon contact lenses orders
- A lot of products from The Body Shop and Schwarzkopf
- $200 vouchers for X'pect Hair Group

The Grand Finals was held at Bugis+. We came at 8.30am to rehearse and then the show starts officially at 6.30pm. Long day.

The show itself! I'm wearing a dress that I made myself so I was really excited! Spot me in the middle.
I couldn't get good quality photos which was quite a bummer. There were a lot of photographers and apparently some people told me they saw a photo of me that Teenage Magazine emails out to people but I just can't find it. So if you see me anywhere I would kindly appreciate it if anyone could email me some photos. Haha thank you :D
I highly encourage everyone who's interested to join, it's really not that difficult and the competition is quite chill, go out there and meet new people. And don't be afraid to not win anything, besides top 3, there are also other awards like Ms Confidence, Mr Confidence, Ms Selfie Award (haha cute), Teenage Choice awards and so on! Take a step! Try it next year! :)
